Fashion Industry; Transformable Garments

For our first 'make' module of final year we had 'Fashion Industry'. We were provided with a brief to help guide us in a direction. I chose to look at transformable garments and the collaboration between the subcultures of sportswear and streetwear. For my final garment I designed and made a long trench style jacket with magnetic under arm seams and side seams. This allowed for the jacket to transform into a poncho. Garments with similar elements make up the rest of the line up. Below is my design portfolio, line-up, final product shots and my garment specification including CADs.
